[5] Offering Prayer 1
1) Gracious God, we seek to be faithful to You. But only through Your power, can we be.
2) Lead us to a greater faith.
3) May these offerings be a first steps in that direction.
4) Our offering is an act of trust in You.
5) Bless it, that it may be used to benefit Your kingdom.
6) We pray for Your direction and guidance for its use.
7) Thank You for giving first, forgiving first, and living in us, that we might become givers,
  and forgivers, and not just takers.

[6] Offering Prayer 2
1) Heavenly Father, we live in a world of obligations. Everything has a price.
2) Because of this we find it hard to understand Your grace.
3) You have given Your grace to us freely, with no strings attached.
4) Accept these offerings as a graec-filled response to Your free gift of new life in Christ.
5) We thank You for this opportunity to give to You.
6) We also thank You for those who have an offering to give today as well as those who
   have a desire to give, but are unable to at the moment.
7) We pray for Your blessing on each of us.

[7] Offering Prayer 3
1) Father, we tend to hold on too tightly to our possessions.
2) Forgive us. The harder we hold on, the more difficult it is to step out in faith and
   to be drawn nearer to Your Kingdom.
3) We belong to You and everything on earth, including these offerings, belong to You.
4) Help us to do Your will by becoming true caretakers of Your trust.
5) May our lives reflect Your glory. May our hearts be filled with faith.
6) Thank you for what You have given today and for what You have promised to provide tomorrow.

 Sunday Prayer  / Prayer for Sunday service

 God our Father, we, Your youth are growing up in an unsteady and confusing world.

Help us to realize that Your ways give us more joy and peace than the ways of the world,

and that following You is better than chasing after selfish goals.

 Give us a will and heart to be all You created to be, and give us strength and wisdom

to maintain our faith in You.

 Following the example of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, may we learn to love

whatever is just and true and good, and thus we become true followers of Jesus Christ.

Worship prayer

Heavenly Father God, we give You praise and glory.

 Thank You for calling us to be Your holy people and for choosing us to give You glory.

Cleanse our hearts and our lives with Your holy word, and make our prayer pleasing You.

Remain in our hearts so that our light may shine before others,

and hel us to lead them to Jesus Christ who is the way, the truth, and the life.

 Guide us by Your Spirit as we follow Jesus.

6) You are good God. We love you with all our hearts, and with all our souls, and

with all our minds, in the name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

 [영어문법] 동명사와 분사 구분하기 

1. 동명사와 분사 구분

1) Ving 가  ‘~하는 것’으로 해석되면 동명사, ‘~하고 있는’으로 해석되면 분사이다

2) 동명사로 사용되는 경우

   ① 동사 앞에서 주어로 사용되거나 ② 동명사를 목적어로 취하는 특수동사 뒤

   ③ be 다음 보어   ④ 전치사 뒤에(전명구)

3) 분사로 사용되는 경우 : 위의 경우 빼고 모두 다  

   ** 일단은 위의 경우가 아니라면 모두 분사라고 이해하자.**

2. 연습문제 (동명사와 분사를 구분해보시오) ** 위의 경우가 아닌 것은 모두 분사 **

1) Driving on the highway is interesting.

2) I enjoy drinking some red wine.

3) We can improve our skill by working together.

4) My work is writing a letter.

5) This dancing party is very fantastic.

6) The dancing girl is very lovely.

7) The man writing a novel will be famous.

8) I found her dozing.

 3. 분사 자세히 보기 (현재분사와 과거분사가 있다)

   ① 명사 앞 뒤 - 명사 수식

   ② 동명사를 목적어로 취하는 특수동사가 아닌 동사 뒤 - 보어

   ③ Ving ~ , S V ~ or S V , Ving ~  의 패턴 - 분사구문 (부사구)

   ④ 동사의 일부로 사용 (be ing, be p.p, have p.p)

* 동명사와 분사의 주의해야 할 구분

  ① 명사 앞에 올 때 : ~하고 있는 으로 해석해서 이상하면 동명사

     A sleeping car (침대차, 동명사)  A sleeping boy (자고 있는 소년 ,분사)

  ② be 다음에 오는 경우 : 주어와 = 이면 동명사 아니면 진행형 동사

     His job is playing a video game. (동명사)

     He is playing a video game. (진행형)

1) Almighty God, who pours out the spirit of grace on all those who desire it,
2) deliver us, when we draw near to You, form coldness of heart and wanderings of mind,
  that we may worship You  in spirit and in truth with all our hears, and through Jesus Christ

3) Loving God, who has promised to hear the petitions of those who ask in Christ's name,
  we ask You to incline You ear to us who have now given our prayers and supplications to You,
